URBAN IDENTITIES Project

Capturing the soul of cities through the damaged papers collected on their walls

“My paintings do not tell the story of places.

Not directly at least.

It is the traces left on the papers that take care of that.

Subtly.

Also the dirt and the aborted messages.

Time has taken care of the draft that I carry.

I then write graphic poetry.

Beyond meaning.

More meaningful,

Dodging the obvious.

Focused on the essence: rhythm and composition."
